Bernie Siegel, M.D., is a retired general/pediatric surgeon who is now involved in humanizing medical care and medical education. He embraces a philosophy that is at the forefront of a society grappling with medical ethics and spiritual issues. He  In 1978, he originated Exceptional Cancer Patients (ECaP), a specific form of individual and group therapy.

He is the author of Love, Medicine & Miracles; Peace, Love & Healing; How to Live Between Office Visits; Prescriptions for Living; and Help Me to Heal .  His latest book is  A Book of Miracles: Inspiring True Stories of Healing, Gratitude ad Love.  

Over the span of twenty years, physicians have become increasingly more receptive to his message.  In May, 20122, Bernie was honored by the Watkins Review of London, England as one of the Top 20 Spiritually Influential Living People on the Planet.  
He continues to travel extensively with his wife Bobbie, to speak and run workshops, sharing his techniques and experiences.
